Lamb of God have just announced a headlining U.S. tour kicking off in the early weeks of 2016. Even better, Lamb of God recruited thrash legends Anthrax as direct support.Lamb of God are an American metal outfit hailing from Richmond, Virginia. The group consists of frontman Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, drummer Chris Adler, and bassist John Campbell, and was formed in 1990. Formerly known as Burn the Priest, Lamb of God create a unique and eclectic blend of all ends of the metal spectrum, such as death metal, thrash, and punk – though they’re most commonly defined as ‘groove metal’. Lamb of God would go on to release their debut LoG album, ‘New American Gospel’, in 2000, and soon started to build up a cult fanbase, before breaking into the metal mainstream – their 2004 effort ‘Ashes of the Wake’ hit #27 in the US, and was followed-up by records peaking at #8 and #2.
