John Fogerty is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from Berkeley, California. Born in 1945, he would originally make a name for himself as the frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival in the late ’60s/early ’70s, with whom he sold over 25million records worldwide. After Creedence Clearwater Revival came to an end, Fogerty embarked on a solo career, and proved to be a hit – he put out his debut LP, ‘The Blue Ridge Rangers’, in ’73, but it was 1985’s ‘Centerfield’ that saw him topping the US Charts, and also earning a double platinum certification. Still writing and releasing music as often as possible, Fogerty also continues to perform live with the same prowess he always has. He’s an incredibly talented guitarist (he’s often featured in Top 100 All-Time Guitarists lists) and needs to be experienced live on stage.
